Twin Cities Marathon to proceed amid heat concerns

Organizers say all Twin Cities Marathon weekend events in Minneapolis will go on as scheduled despite 'Code Yellow' running conditions and warm forecasts. Race Director Ed Wetham urged runners to take precautions, and officials announced extra cooling and medical measures — including misting fans, added ice and water, and an air-conditioned medical tent — for more than 30,000 participants.
