Minnesota wildland firefighter dies during Idaho burn
Isabella 'Bella' Grace Oscarson, 26, a wildland firefighter from Watertown, Minn., died Sept. 26 while participating in a prescribed burn with the Idaho Department of Lands. The Minnesota Fire Service Foundation classified the death as a line-of-duty death; Gov. Tim Walz ordered flags at half-staff in Minnesota on Oct. 4 and funeral services are scheduled Saturday at the Church of St. Charles Borromeo in St. Anthony.
