Foster Farms recalls nearly 4M pounds of corn dogs
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced a recall of nearly 4 million pounds of Foster Poultry Farms chicken corn dog products after pieces of wood were found embedded in the batter. FSIS said the items were produced July 30, 2024–Aug. 4, 2025, carry establishment number P-6137B, were distributed nationwide (including retail, institutional locations, and some Department of Defense/USDA Commodity Foods donations), and that at least five people reported injuries; consumers and institutions are urged to discard or return affected products.
