ICE, Oklahoma Troopers Detain 120 Migrants on I‑40
DHS, ICE and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said they arrested 120 noncitizens during a three‑day enforcement sweep along Interstate 40 in Oklahoma between Sept. 22–25, detaining 91 people alleged to have been operating commercial motor vehicles with CDLs. Federal officials said the operation targeted public‑safety threats on a major freight route, cited prior convictions among some detainees (including DUI, illegal re‑entry, money‑laundering, human‑smuggling and assault), and urged local law enforcement to adopt 287(g) agreements to assist removals.
