Amazon to Roll Out Pharmacy Kiosks in Los Angeles
Amazon announced it will begin installing self-service 'pharmacy kiosks' at One Medical clinics starting in December 2025, initially at downtown Los Angeles, West LA, Beverly Hills, Long Beach and West Hollywood locations, allowing patients to pick up prescribed medications at the point of care by scanning a QR code in the Amazon app. The automated machines will stock hundreds of commonly prescribed drugs (antibiotics, inhalers, blood-pressure treatments) with seasonal items like flu and allergy medicines; Amazon says the wider rollout across additional One Medical sites and other environments will continue through 2026 to improve medication fill rates and reduce barriers to starting treatment.
