Microsoft, Anthropic hire ex-UK PM Rishi Sunak

Microsoft and Anthropic have appointed former U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak as a senior adviser and strategic consultant, he announced Thursday. Sunak, who remains a member of Parliament, will donate his compensation to The Richmond Project charity and the companies say the part‑time role complies with U.K. ACOBA rules limiting his work to strategy, macroeconomic and geopolitical advice unrelated to U.K. government matters for two years.
