Ex-Dolphins safety wins $9.5M Merrill Lynch settlement
Former Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones reached a $9.5 million settlement in August with Merrill Lynch after alleging his former advisor, Isaiah Thomas Williams Jr., defrauded him of about $2.6 million through 133 unauthorized transactions. Williams was arrested in Florida in June on grand theft, fraud, and money-laundering charges, later released on $1 million bond, and has been barred by FINRA from associating with broker-dealers after not cooperating with its probe.
