NYC man charged in 2024 fatal hit-and-run

New York City resident Timothy Bohler, 31, who has 20 prior arrests, was charged last week with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and related offenses after allegedly striking 52-year-old cancer survivor Lelawattie Narine with a motorcycle in the Bronx on March 22, 2024. Narine died two weeks later; Bohler, already jailed on Rikers for a separate January 2025 machete assault that severed a man’s fingers, was served the new charges while in custody.
