Seven killed in fiery I-85 Georgia crash
A semi-trailer following too closely struck a Dodge van on I-85 in Jackson County, Georgia, on Monday afternoon, causing the van to burst into flames and killing all seven occupants at the scene, officials said. Four other vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction collision after the initial impact, and authorities have not yet released the victims’ identities. The Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating, according to the Georgia Department of Public Safety.
